The Yoga Body Diet
For the past 9 months I’ve been eating several small meals per day - basically snacking every couple hours. I haven’t been feeling very satisfied though and I have insane cravings and urges to binge at night. I’m going to switch it up for a couple weeks, according to the information I found in the book “The Yoga Body Diet.” I don’t know how credible it is, but...
What do you think??
I just got a major hate/angry message from someone saying that I tamper with the credit of photos because I delete some captions. Do you consider this taking away the credit of the photos? I always leave the source at the bottom. I never delete the link provided. But, yes, sometimes I delete others’ captions. I had no idea this was a big no-no. Have I been pissing a lot of you off?
healthyequalshappy asked: you're not lazy!! At leats you ran.. that's more than most people can say. You should always feel accomplished as long as you got your ass off the couch at some point during the day. Coming on tumblr motivates me! Also working out with someone else doesn't give me the option to back out! lol
LAZY
I ran 2 miles this morning but I don’t feel motivated to do my at-home workouts AT ALL. Ugh this is the worst feeling ever. At least I’m eating great today.
How do you all get motivated??
Day 2
It’s Day 2 of my diet and fitness regimen before the engagement photo shoot. Yesterday went really well. Today is going wonderful so far. I woke up early to run a couple of miles before work. I had Cheerios and grapes for breakfast. Then I had toast, an apple, and grapes for lunch. When I get home from work, I’m doing a circuit training DVD, strength training, and an ab workout....
Okay, new plan of action.
My diet lately: BAD.
My exercise lately: AMAZING.
Yesterday I ran 7 miles at 7.5 mph. It felt so so so good. I also did my strength training routine. But then I went to a family cookout and ate a piece of cake, scoop of ice cream, and cheesy nachos. Yeahhh, good job, Lauren.
I just got the date confirmed for mine and my fiance’s engagement photo shoot. I have exactly 26 days to lose 5...
20 Tricks to Tone You Tummy →
tonedcurves:
1. Engage Your Pelvic Floor
You’ve probably heard of Kegels before, right? By engaging your pelvic floor (act as though you’re trying to stop your urine midstream) before and during any abs exercise you perform, you better engage your transverse abdominals, which act as a girdle for your entire core. This helps give you a tighter midsection-quite literally-all the way around!

Great start to my day
Woke up at 7 a.m. to run 3.3 miles before work.
I’ve had a banana, slice of toast, and green tea so far today (it’s almost 11 a.m.)
For lunch I’m having another slice of toast, an apple, and grapes.
My snack before dinner is a cup of dry cheerios.
Before dinner I’ll get in one more workout. It will probably be a total body toning video (45 minutes) because my gym...
