Reasons why my posts have been so few and far...
and why they will continue to be so in the near future:
Our wedding rehearsal is tonight, our wedding is Saturday (oh my god.), and we leave for Europe next Tuesday on a five week trip. I’ve never been so excited in my life.
Another morning run with my brother! We sprinted a lot of it, which wasn’t very smart considering the heat, but oh well. Had a healthy breakfast and now I’m going to clean my room and continue packing for the honeymoon :)
Got too much sun!!!
Ahhh burn go away before my wedding =X
Beautiful day
-9 a.m. run with my brother
-Eggs and toast for breakfast
-Super hot and sunny day
-Dad’s grilling for dinner/spending time with the family
-Weight training later
-Evening with Corey, doing last minute stuff for the wedding :)
I’ll be married in 6 days and leaving for Europe in 9 days. YES.

Feeling amazing.
I feel the best I’ve felt since the beginning of the year. I haven’t craved unhealthy food in a couple weeks and eating clean has been wonderful. The running has been super effective and I’m so happy with the results I’m seeing (especially in my stomach). With two weeks until the wedding, I honestly have no worries now. The wedding could be tomorrow and I’d be happy...
19 Days of Running: Day 3 Completed
Okay, so it was the worst day of my period and I ran 3.5 miles. Pretty happy with that. Today I’m working literally all day (staying at work until 8 p.m., when we then have to go to a major work event). So I brought my workout stuff and I’m going to go for a quick run outside around 5.
11 miles down. 46 to go.
19 Days of Running: Day 2 Completed
Completed Day 2 yesterday. Because I did 6 miles on Monday, I ran 2 yesterday and then took a one hour long walk with my mom at a brisk pace (we wore workout clothes, so we walked fairly fast). I also did a light weight training routine and 15 minute ab workout. Nothing too extreme. Tonight I’m going to the gym, 3 miles in mind. I can’t believe how different I feel since Sunday. My...

19 Days of Running: Day 1 Recap
Okay, since I didn’t run all weekend, I had a ton of energy and ended up running 6 miles. If at 3 miles I don’t feel at all tired, I can’t just stop. So I decided that in the name of being balanced and not going overboard, when I run 6 miles, that counts for two runs if I ever need a rest day. But never as substitute if I’m lazy. As of now, it’s not affecting my 19...
Never done this before.
Last year, I ran regularly (5-6 times per week). I’ve been slacking this year - running about 2-3 times per week. I’ve never run 7 days a week, so that’s my goal. I’m going to try to run every day until my wedding. That’s 19 straight days of running. And I’m on my period this week so that makes me even more bad ass, right? Sorta kinda?
I want to average 3...
I did so well at my bridal shower!!!
I stayed mostly reasonable and sampled very small pieces of two desserts (there were 5 flavors of giant cookies and a tray of freshly baked mixed tarts and pastries). Both were deliciousss. It was such a wonderful night, to be surrounded by the women closest to me. I was given such meaningful gifts, especially from Corey’s grandmother and my own. Almost started crying. In 21 days I’ll...
